7 rooms, 2 dormitories, 50 beds in total. Fragrant wood, feather duvets and a window with snow falling behind it. You won't need anything more.

All there is to do
The adventure begins down below
The climb up separates the wheat from the chaff. A few kilometres uphill, where your heart starts to pound and your head finally switches off. It's not a drawback — it's the best part.
In winter a different route leads up than in summer, and we'll point you to the right one. Heavy luggage we'll bring up by arrangement — you just enjoy the climb travelling light.
Stay longer
Just as you get used to the quiet and the rhythm of the mountains, it's time to pack. Stay two or three nights — the surroundings have plenty to offer and we have tips for every kind of weather and mood.
A hike up to the highest peak of the Krkonoše Mts. through the romantic Obří důl valley, back past Luční bouda and Výrovka. 20.7 km, a full day.
An easy-going route ending back here with a chilled Klínovka 11°. 15.9 km past Liščí hora and the surrounding lodges.
A short walk to the sunset past Dvorská bouda and the viewpoint near the Friesovy boudy. 5.5 km, easy.
Our restaurant
And taste the treats from our own beef — from the Highland herd just below the lodge. Homemade bread, juicy steaks and chilled beer with a view down into the valley.
A night's sleep you won't find in the city
The whole lodge has been renovated and has four floors. The rooms smell of wood, the beds are freshly made, and the windows look straight out onto the mountains. Don't expect a minibar or a lift. Do expect quiet, the warmth of a wood stove, and the scent of freshly baked bread in the morning.
You won't find Wi-Fi here — on purpose. We believe that a few hours without a signal often give a person more than a whole evening on the phone. Instead of scrolling, you can borrow one of our board games, pick up the guitar or play the piano. And it usually doesn't take long before the other guests join in. Suddenly there's singing, chatting and card games — and that genuine homely atmosphere that sets mountain lodges apart from hotels.
